'Tahitian Orange Rainbow'

Tropical Hibiscus 'Tahitian Orange Rainbow' blooms with 6-8" flowers on a medium-sized bush. Amazingly, 'Tahitian Orange Rainbow' is the result of a cross between two lavender and blue parents, 'Romeo' and 'Nightfire.' What a surprise that this cross produced a bloom with five rings of color that are dominated by orange! The result is very different and attractive flower. The rings of color are brightest at opening, then soften to a pastel yellow in heat and bright sunlight. 'Tahitian Orange Rainbow' is a good bloomer, and a beautiful addition to our hibiscus collection. New to HVH in 2009.
